beverages. Here’s a list of OnlySweet enhanced ades, coolers and
smoothies. Your defense against the sweltering summer heat.
LemOnly Sweet Lemonade
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 quart cold water
5-6 sachets OnlySweet
Ice cubes
8 lemon slices
In a large pitcher, mix lemon juice, water and OnlySweet. Add
ice cubes and 4 lemon slices. Serve in a tall glass over ice;
garnish each glass with remaining lemon slices.
Makes 5 cups, 5 servings
OnlyMint Citrus Cooler
5 lemons
3 limes
3 oranges
6 cups cold water
11-12 sachets OnlySweet
1/2 cup mint leaves
Ice cubes
6 Lemon slices, optional
Squeeze the juice from the lemons, limes and oranges; pour
into a 2-1/2 quart pitcher. Add the water and OnlySweet; mix
well. Stir in the mint leaves and ice cubes. Serve in a tall
glass over ice; garnish each glass with lemon slices, if
desired.
Makes 2 quarts, 8 servings
Gingerlicious Iced Tea
4 oz. ginger root
2 quarts water
4 black tea bags
3-4 sachets OnlySweet
Wash the ginger root and cut it into large chunks (no need to
peel it). Pour the water into a 3-quart stockpot; add ginger
root. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat; add tea bags. Cover and
steep for 15 minutes; discard tea bags. Stir in OnlySweet. Cool
to room
temperature; strain and discard ginger root. Transfer to a large
pitcher or container. Serve in a tall glass over ice.
Makes 2 quarts, 8 servings
Refreshingly Raspberry Iced Tea
4 quarts water
10 black tea bags
1 package (12 ounces) frozen unsweetened raspberries
12 sachets OnlySweet
In a large stockpot, bring water to a boil; remove from heat.
Add tea bags; cover and steep for 15 minutes. Add raspberries;
cover and steep for 15 minutes. Strain and discard tea bags and
raspberries. Stir in OnlySweet. Cool to room temperature.
Transfer to a large pitcher or container. Serve in a tall glass
over ice.
Makes one gallon, 16 servings (8 oz serving size)
Mello Mango Smoothie
2 cups chopped peeled mango
1 medium ripe banana, peeled, sliced and frozen
1 cup reduced-fat milk
1/2 cup reduced-fat plain yogurt
1/2 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
4 sachets OnlySweet
In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process
until smooth. Pour into glasses; serve immediately. Refrigerate
leftovers.
Makes 4 cups, 4 servings
Positively Peachy Smoothie
3 cups fresh peach slices (or unsweetened frozen peach
slices, thawed)
1-1/4 cups reduced-fat milk
1/2 cup ice cubes
5-6 sachets OnlySweet
In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process
until smooth. Pour into glasses; serve immediately. Refrigerate
leftovers.
